Qualified baker with a desire to teach for a bakery in Aarhus

Are you a certified baker who thrives in a key position with responsibility and the ability to teach? Then you have the opportunity to become a central part of the production team at La Cabra Bakery, where we are looking for a baker for our sourdough bakery in the center of Aarhus.

La Cabra is known in Aarhus for its welcoming and cozy café environments, where we serve well-brewed coffee and well-executed baked goods. Our bakery on Borggade is also bustling, with the demand for quality baked goods steadily increasing. Therefore, we are now looking for a certified baker who will have primary responsibility for our two bakery apprentices. You should enjoy a role with responsibility and have the desire to teach. You will work with bread dough, lamination, and baking in the oven. Especially in the baking phase, we need a captain who takes control and knows how to create a well-baked product. We hope this role becomes yours. Additionally, it's important that you have experience working with lamination.

We bake all our bread with sourdough, so if you are familiar with sourdough, it's an advantage but not a must. 

Creative and energetic production team

You will be part of a creative and energetic production team of a total of 11 people working with both bread and pastry. La Cabra Bakery is a growing young company, and we practice a culture of helping each other with the tasks that may arise.

The position is full-time, and working hours vary from Monday to Sunday, from 04:00 to 14:00, both on weekdays and weekends. As we are a production company where we never know 100% what the day will bring, we need you to be flexible regarding your working hours.

In the spring of 2024, La Cabra will open another café - this time at Aarhus Ø, where the bakery will also supply pastries. So, we are busy in the bakery, and we need colleagues who can take responsibility and continuously perform quality control on our products to meet the high standards we are known for.
