Our Borggade bakery is located just around the corner from our original location in Graven, in Aarhus’ Latin Quarter. The bakery has become an essential aspect of the La Cabra experience, with the team reflecting the same focus on craft and raw materials as in coffee.

The Space
This space allows this focus to become even sharper, showcasing the craft of baking from start to finish, bringing the team out of their original basement bakery, and into the spotlight.
Form meets function
The bakery is separated into three spaces: the front of house, sourdough production and pastry production. A transparent view between these creates an open connection between bakers and servers, servers and customers.
Our bakery is the perfect complement to our philosophy in our coffee bars. Excellent quality coffee should be accompanied and elevated by the finest bread and pastries, something we have aimed for at home in Aarhus for nearly 10 years now.
High quality raw material is the driver in our bakeries just as in the roastery. We aim to build relationships with the millers, farmers and artisans that deliver our flour, grains, fruits and more, working together to showcase their quality in the most delicious way possible.
