La Cabra in New York
To bring the La Cabra experience to one of our favourite cities is something we dreamed of for a number of years. Our East Village location was the first in New York, bringing the La Cabra coffee and bakery experience to this iconic metropolis for the first time.
Several Danish design features punctuate the space, Hans Wegner chairs are used throughout, and bespoke tiles from KH Würtz adorn the length of the bar. We look forward to welcoming you in East Village.
Prelude
Our location in the East Village is our prelude. Our first foray into New York’s colour, noise and bustle; a source of inspiration for so many years. East Village is the anchor to which we pin our development and involvement in New York’s thriving coffee scene.
La Cabra Bakery
Our bakery is the perfect complement to our philosophy in our coffee bars. Excellent quality coffee should be accompanied and elevated by the finest bread and pastries, something we have aimed for at home in Aarhus for nearly 10 years now.
High quality raw material is the driver in our bakeries just as in the roastery. We aim to build relationships with the millers, farmers and artisans that deliver our flour, grains, fruits and more, working together to showcase their quality in the most delicious way possible.
