This month we are exploring classic coffees from Guatemala, one of the birthplaces of the specialty coffee industry. Both of this month's coffees showcase the range and traditions that have shaped Guatemalan coffee.
Guatemala
Here, we find growers carrying forward the traditions and flavour profiles that helped shape specialty coffee. Returning to the same partners year after year lets us purchase from a wider range of lots, and gives producers the stability to invest in their farms and wet mills. This leads to cups that reflect this heritage, and the growers behind them.
Las Flores de Cafe
Las Flores de Cafe showcases notes of soft red berries, sweet dark chocolate, and ripe citrus acidity alongside a distinctive cocoa-sweet, round body.
La Colina
The washed Pacamara from Antonio Medina at La Colina showcases the classic flavour profile of the varietal: tropical and stone fruit.

Last month's coffees
Last month we were exploring coffees from Nariño; one of our favourite regions in Colombia.
Our subscribers exclusively received the La Mina, the honey process leading to a bright and complex profile, with notes of tropical mango. Our subscribers also enjoyed Alto Naranjal - a more traditional profile, with notes of bright citrus, alongside a crisp balance between red berry acidity and deep dried fruit sweetness.
