The Smart G is a manual coffee grinder from Japanese brand Hario. The conical ceramic burrs shave the beans rather than crushing them, which keeps heat transfer to a minimum and produces an even grind across coarse and fine settings. The grind size is adjusted by turning the nut at the base of the burr stem.

The transparent body makes it easy to see the beans before grinding and the grounds as they fall into the chamber. The removable handle slots into the silicone band on the side, keeping everything compact for storage and travel.
