New York Lantern House Cup

Created in collaboration with K.H. Würtz for our third café in New York, the Lantern House Cup takes its cues from the space itself, drawing on the materials, tones and atmosphere that shape the café.

Handmade and hand-glazed using traditional ceramic techniques, each cup has its own subtle variation. The glaze draws from the café’s material and colour palette, creating a quiet connection to its surroundings. At Lantern House, the High Line’s original steel structure passes directly overhead, while wood, stone, upholstery and metal bring warmth and texture to the space.

The cup reflects the same approach, a tactile object shaped by its context.

K.H. Würtz & La Cabra

Founded in Horsens, Denmark in 2004, K.H. Würtz blends ancient ceramic techniques with modern experimentation. From their studio in Horsens, K.H. Würtz creates ceramics with distinctive colourations and textures.

We have worked with Kasper and the team for nearly a decade; their beautiful and timeless pieces have become intertwined with La Cabra, a vital element in the experience we create across our locations. Each piece is handmade in Denmark, a commitment to our belief that small details can elevate an experience.
